MINI USA LIMITED WARRANTY

Original parts and accessories for MINI passenger cars

MINI USA, a division of BMW of North America, LLC warrants the Original new and remanufactured parts and accessories it sells against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 24 months commencing on the date of sale or installation by the authorized MINI passenger car dealer.

Upon discovery of a defect in material or workmanship, the part or accessory sold or the vehicle in which the covered part or accessory is installed, shall be brought to any authorized center to obtain service under this warranty. The center will repair or replace the defective part or accessory without charge to the customer upon presentation of the original invoice/repair order verifying the date of sale or installation. The decision to repair or replace the part or accessory is made solely by MINI USA.

The part or accessory replaced under the terms of this warranty shall become the property of MINI USA.

This warranty does not apply to:

Damage resulting from negligence, improper installation or lack of maintenance, flood, accident or fire.
Damage resulting from modifications which alter the original engineering and/or operating specifications
Failure due to external influences.

This warranty shall become null and void if the part or accessory sold or installed is damaged as a result of the vehicle's use in competitive driving or racing.

MINI USA, a division of BMW of North America, LLC will from time to time sell parts and accessories with warranty coverage different than that which is stated above and those items are, therefore, not covered by this limited warranty. Refer to the applicable limited warranty for those items.

Event-based interactions include MINI USA-sponsored events, test drive experiences and vehicle service requests. Each event-based interaction with MINI USA provides an opportunity to give SMS consent and requires a separate opt-out for each event. At any time, you may discontinue receiving SMS messages by sending the SMS message 'STOP' in response to the MINI USA message you received or by following other instructions provided in the last MINI USA message received for that event.   We do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children (we define 'children' as minors younger than 13) on our Sites without prior, verifiable parental consent.We do not knowingly allow children to order our products, communicate with us, or use any of our online services.

PHISHING SCAMS

There is a type of e-mail solicitation commonly known as a 'phishing' scam, with the primary objective being to obtain one's personal information. This information can then be used to steal a person's identity. Examples of these types of scams are: requests for you to send passwords, login names, Social Security numbers, or other personal information through email, U.S. mail, fax or text message. MINI USA does not participate in this type of solicitation.
